Hollingworth & Associates was
born out of a passion for property and a desire to achieve as
well as set the highest standards, in an industry which is largely
unregulated.
We believe that property
investments should be underpinned by facts, stats and a level
of due diligence
that significantly mitigates the risk of investing in emerging
markets.
We are dedicated to finding the best deals, the best people in
the business, as well as developing the finest and most appropriate
project designs for the market demand in question.
To this end, Hollingworth’s ‘associates’ include
specialist partner property consultancies, tried and tested developers,
construction engineers, solicitors, tax advisers, property managers
among many other property professionals, all of whom boast excellent
credentials and experience in their respective area of expertise
and locale.
Our Mission
Having operated in the selling and marketing of property in the
UK and overseas for many years, and as investors ourselves, we
wanted top down, bottom up market intelligence that allowed us
to make an informed decision.
We wanted to significantly reduce the uncertainties of buying
abroad and ensure we were getting the best deal; that we were
investing our money in solid developments with trustworthy developers;
and that we were receiving the best advice from our solicitor,
mortgage broker and tax adviser. After all, buying property is
one of the most expensive purchases most of us will ever make
and as investors we did not want to lose a penny.
However, the level of expertise and deal transparency we sought
from our property investments was extremely hard to come by, especially
in the overseas market. So, we took it upon ourselves to search
out the depth of detail we demanded.
In so doing, we recognised that other investors felt the same
way, and did not necessarily have the time to invest in weeks
of painstaking research looking for just the right the property
project.
Trawling through endless websites, and making countless trips
and phone calls abroad looking for suitable properties and reputable
services can be an extremely frustrating business, not to mention
pricey.
What we and other buyers wanted was a 'buying package' that would
simplify the purchasing process and underpin the investment with
reliable, up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace.
The Devil is in the Detail
On that basis, H&A drills down to extract every last detail
possible, and if we can’t get the information we want, we
tell you about it, and we also flag up any negatives. That way
these aspects can be factored into your decision-making process.
We simply don’t believe in holding back on the truth. For
example, if a development doesn’t have planning permission,
it’s important to highlight that, as even if a project has
a 100% chance of achieving it within a given timeframe, an unforeseen
occurrence may prevent the permit from being given the go-ahead,
and then there’s nothing worse than back-peddling. This
may seem an obvious point, but you’d be surprised how many
developers and agencies are aggressively raising cash for developments
that have no build permits in place, and ‘fail’ to
mention the potential risk of not obtaining a permit.
This is just one small example of how a project can come crashing
down if you’re not fully prepared for every consequence
of the property developing and purchasing process.

companies but at Hollingworth and Associates we only advertise
real estate property abroad that we consider to be a financially
viable and well though out profitable investment. It is our aim
to find you the best deals on the best properties under development
in a fantastic selection of overseas locations including Croatia,
Montenegro,
Cyprus
and Hungary.
In order to make sure that our clients are not wasting their time
or their money, we make sure that each overseas
property developer responsible for a particular project is
of the highest calibre and this is carried out by performing extensive
checks on the track record of each property developer involved
and by building strong working relationships with property
developers that we trust.
